Tonight and Tomorrow we have 18 couples on a Marriage Retreat in Grand Rivers, KY. It will be led by Roger and Wendy Palmer. I look forward to God using this to grow them in Christ.

An interview with Flavio Araujo will be on today's Baptist Hour at 12:30. Also, join me in praying for him as he leaves in the morning.

A gentleman named Terry Vannice came to the church  needing some assistance. He lives with his brother who is battling cancer and due to the cost of treatments he could use some  help with food. Terry will be joining us Sunday at the 9:45 worship service and we'd like to give him a food basket after service is over. His only request was beans, flour and potatoes. I'm sure any nonperishable items would be helpful as well.

Sunday Sermon (8:30, 9:45. 11:00):

From Lisa Linsdey: "I’m still looking for you who would like to help me love on babies on Wednesday nights in the nursery. We have been having so much fun playing blocks, riding the stick horse and just flat out playing! Those baby/toddler giggles are the best! Come join us! The more we have to volunteer, you may only have to help once a month or so. Let me know if you would like to help! I have someone to help with nursery on March 21, April 11, 18, 25, May 2, 16. Still need someone to help tonight and May 9.

Tonight Youth 5:30-7:30. Please don’t forge tonight to signup and pay for Dnow if you want to be guaranteed a host home and shirt.

Flavio Araujo from Brazil will be here tonight. I hope you will get to meet him and know him.

Have a blessed day,

Sunday the church voted to purchase the former Crossroads building. This is a huge step of faith that I believe compares to the children of Israel crossing over to the land God had given them. Many of you have asked me the what and when question. We are going to be taking the steps toward purchasing the building soon. Today, lets make it a day to just pray and praise Him! I want to thank the deacons, building committee and trustees for their many hours of meetings and prayers. I want to thank those of you who prayed for God's will to be done. In all of this may God get the glory and we make disciples!

Also, we rejoice in Kamaar Richee decision to committing to the call to ministry. As Billy Joe Foster said and rejoiced in the first service, "That is 17!" Walnut Grove is a sending church. We look forward to God sending more out in the harvest fields as well as at the same time sending us the 'laborers of the harvest."

Check out Sunday's sermon:

Also, it was a blessing to hear Sunday Grant Hildabrand's history and testimony.

Have a blessed day,

“For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner. He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God” (Ecclesiastes 2:26).

“How lovely are Your dwelling places, O LORD of hosts! My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God” (Ps. 84:1-2).
